my current setup in my car is a Total Mobile Audio 320 watt 4 channel amp running 4 6.5's and a 12. I had TMA speakers but just put in Alpine 17C's (run at 100watts RMS compared to 50rms). There was not that much difference in sound so I got mad and now I'm buying the Kicker 700 watt 5 channel amp. Will it make that much difference in the sound or am I wasting money? Also what gauge wiring is recommended for this new amp? Should I just leave what was wired to the TMA amp? What happens if I do. I am pretty sure that it might be 8 or 10 gauge wiring. Suggestions are greatly appreciated....
