car stereo stop working?

my old head unit had to tape player.

When i would play music from all speakers loudly the back speakers would make a screeching sound and they would all go out.

Sooo..i got A new head unit.

For awhile it worked fine then the same problem occurred

now it doesn't play anything at all.........

What is the problem???
i have a 1997 suzuki sidekick sport
 
most likely, your speakers can't handle the power they are getting. I suggest getting some aftermarket speakers. Even if they are a cheaper brand, they will make a HUGE difference. I promise you will not be dissapointed.
