Car stereo problems.?

I recently instaled and accoustic solutions ICS-30 car stereo into my fathers pug 306. Now whenever we try to insert a disc it goes in half way and then reads error 1. Whats causing this problem and how can it be fixed. The unit has been reconditioned.
 
i agree. return the stereo and get a proper brand. Pioneer, Alpine.
Sony if your on a budget.
There's a cheap sony for 69.99 at argos. im assuming that you got the accoustic Solutions from there.

some people here will slag off Sony's and you yourself may hate them, but ive had good experience with Sony's and ive had second hand ones, that are at least 4 years old that still work i mean i just brought one for a £1 yesterday at a car boot and it all worked fine. the back lights all the buttons, radio cd mechanism everything.

Of course you will always have that dodgy one, but then you get that with everything nowadays
