car stereo help (easy 10 pts)?

ok so i recently got a sirius radio for my truck, and it is hooked up to the auxiliary for sound. and when its on and i go to shift or go faster it sounds like you can here the transmission through my stereo. that only happens when its plugged into the aux. please help?? 10 pts best answer
 
Sounds like you have ignition(electrical) noise! You need to get a filter(ie. capacitor). Go you your local auto store, ie. auto zone* (* Auto zone is just a suggestion.), and explain your situation, and they should know what to do. If all else fails, you can either call, or email sirius(I'm sure that you arn't the only one who's had this problem!). Good Luck!
 
Try a shorter aux cable its picking up a signal from somewhere. Or it could be you hooked up a head unit wrong if its not your stock one.
