I have a 1996 Geo Prizm LSi with the optional Geo CD/Cassette player and the display went out I love this particular stereo and I dont want to replace it with an aftermarket but I was wondering where I could take this to have it repaired besides the dealership? Chevrolet wants 80.00 dollars just to take the radio out of the car. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

do it yourself. and its gonna cost as much to fix it as it is to buy an aftermarket. aftermarket is better. more power, better features and most stock units dont have preouts for when you wanna add any amps
