Hi, i just bought my first car that has some pretty awesome speakers.... trouble is, i cant use them!!! I can turn on the cd player and listen to music, but only at a low volume. If i turn up the volume, the bass kicks in (doof doof) and then the cd player switches off and then turns itself on again and continues to the next doof beat, then switches off again. Hahahaha, thats hard to explain, so i hope you understand. While its on a low volume, when its doing quiet bass beats, the lights on the radio go bright and dim according to the bass beats. I have been told i need two different things. First i got told i need like an extension battery to support the speaker system as my car lacks the power (I have nissan micra, 1995) I have also been told i need an amplifier....
Any suggestions????
BTW, i dont know the wattage for the speakers, and my cd player is a sony. Lol, thats all i know.
