Car sometimes kicks while accelerating?

It only does it when im speeding up from in town to out of town and doesnt do it everytime, usually like 1 out of 3 times i go out of town, could this be the transmission? im really freaking out i just bought this at a buy here pay here with no warrenty its a 2003 dodge neon has 89000 miles on it, what could be wrong with it, check the trans fluid and there are 4 dots it goes up to the 3rd so its not really low or anything
