My Honda Odyssey has 50,000 miles on it. How important is it to do the new timing chain and the new differential fluid. It is 500 dollars for both.

timing chain must be rattling or if it is timing belt( cam ) belt is more important, oil you do need to change as when its worn the diff can wine.
