I accidently scratched up my friend's car when pulling out of the driveway. The scratch is minor, and in fact most of the damage wiped away when the area was washed, so it is a minor scratched area left. The car is a 98 or 99 pontiac sedan (red paint) and the scratch runs about 10-12 inches just where the two doors meet. What can we expect for a cost to repair? Would it be better to repair it ourselves with that scratch doctor stuff at the auto store?
