okay i have a 2002 suburban i have the factory radio i installed a low input converter it has 2 rca cables. then i installed my 1200 watt amp and i got another amp 300 watts for all four 6.1/2 4 total and i ran rca cable from converter to amp to input, than ran rca from amp output to my 300 watt amp and when i put the bass a little high all the 4 speaker sound distorted i dont want to change the factory radio how can i make it sound clean thank you

That's a little hard to follow.

I think you are saying you have a downconverter so you can take the factory amp output and feed it into an amp. It sounds like you may be routing an amp output from an amp into another amp... this will cause LOADS of distortion if not damage.

If you are trying to split out a sub box, you should probably have some kind of crossover to split just the low frequencies into that amp.

Sorry I don't follow your description better, but I get the impression you may be missing a component.
