Car problems...CV Joints...?

My car is making a clicking noise when I put full lock on the steering, to turn in tight spaces etc. I have been told it is the CV joints. Does anyone know a rough price to get this sorted out? I have been told I would either need new CV joints and boots, or if the boots are not damaged, the joints can just be packed with grease. Does this sound correct? & if so...a rough price estimate. My car is a 2002 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 SXi
