Ok so the story is i recieved a car from my unckle when i was 16 to drive but it was given to my mom under her name because of my age. I was the only person to ever use the car and my mom even referred to the car as like "take your car and meet me" whatever the thing was. I had a police report filed against my step dad and now have a restraining order against him and dont live with my mom and step dad anymore. I moved out a month ago and went to the local judge about the car. He granted me the car and police escorted me to the house to pick up the stuff. My mother gave me the car and registration and told the cops she couldnt find the title which is obvisouly bullshit. now the cops said they cant just go in and tear the place apart and look for it and i live in new york and she lives in new jersey and is not talking to me. what should i do?
