car misfires after 5000 rpm's?

i have a dodge neon srt4. it redlines at 6000 rpm's. when i get on it pretty hard its fine until about 5k hits and then it will misfire until redline at 6k. it can't be coil pack/plugs/wires... because if it was it would misfire all the time and not just after 5k rpms.. besides their new. please help! thanks.
 
How about the distributor cap or rotor. Sure sounds like a plug or wire breakdown. I hope you didn't pull on the wires when you put them on. You have to take them off right at the boot.Check the firing order but that doesn't sound like a high RPM miss.
