car making weird noises?

sounds like the brake pad is worn and possible broken pieces are floating around and causing the noise, I would suggest take it to a brake shop ASAP

Hi,

I have a 2004 pontiac grand am. Lately, when I have the windows down I notice a sort of metal on metal sound when I go over some bumps on my passenger side or make a sharp left turn. This isn't over every bump on the passenger side or every left turn. I'm just wondering what this is and how much it's going to cost me. I noticed if I hit the brakes it will stop. It sounds like shhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I'm not sure how else to describe the sound. Thanks.
