car is revving itself?

00 v40 volvo is reving itself and some fumes can be smelt from time to time and is a bit sluggish when starting. its done 90k and is running fine otherwise.
 
Woha. A self reving car that's freaking awesome man and a Volvo too man them swedes r genises ;))
Volvo have an air leak check them air lines
