I was reversing into a space after waiting for traffic behind me to stop, two cars had already overtaken me. I had my reverse lights and indicator on, I was 3/4 into my manouevre when the car behind came forward and hit my front right wheel arch, just before I was about to turn back into the space and finish my manouevre. Surely the fact that the other driver has come forward and hit the front of my car and i haven't reversed into them means they are liable. The insurance claim its my fault but I can't see how? What can I do? Is it actually my fault?
