I have a 95' ford contour its a piece of shit but its all i got.. and every now and then when i start it it idlesa really high to the poin it almost redlines and i have to shut it off... but then its fine the next time. this will also happen if im jus driving down the road the throtles not stuck bcause im not floring it when it redlines... i will notice a change in pitch of sound from the engine and pull over put it in nutral and it will rev right up.. then i shut it off and restart and its fine... ive replaced the spark plugs b4 all this happend... wuts wrong?
