i own a toyota celica ST164 1989 model 2000 CC 2.0 ltr engine.
It started missing {losing power} when i drove it i replaced the spark plugs and rotor button in the distributor cap cause the head were the spark plugs are was full of oil plugs were damaged i put new seals on the to stop the oil leak wehn i put new plugs in there and it stopped today its started again losing power the distributor cap itself has a couple cracks in it and the hose leading from the manifold to the air filter is taped up good it has a crack in it but mechanic said no air leak yet but replace it i heard it could be fuel filter fuel leads what could it be? also ive stopped the leak and the new spark plugs have no oil on them now
 
maybe the spark plugs werent the problem if it didn't fix it when you replaced them. I suggest getting a mechanic to look at at.
As it gets older it prob wont run as well as before.
