Im buying a car this weekend, its between a 1992 Toyota Celica GT with 112k and the 1985 BMW E30 318i 125k. BMW being $800 more, but both in my price range, and of course both in 5 speed. I want something with nice torque and fast off the line, handling is huge, and I want something bulletproof and reliable. I plan to be rough maybe some dirt driving, really just to have fun driving this car and of course being my daily commuter. Hopefully some answers with experience with either of the cars. I want to own this car till it dies, I want to learn how to work on cars a bit, as my previous car I always took to the dealer. Im planning to look at both cars this weekend, I hope i get some answers before!
