I'm taking my car in to brakes plus in the morning. But right now I'm really anxious about what they'll find since I *really* can't afford a high cost repair right now, so I'm sorta hoping someone will come on and say "oh that sounds like it could be this really simple/cheap fix."
Not that I'm all that hopeful.
So there are a few things that just went wrong with my car. As they coincided, I am hoping (*fingers crossed*) that they all have the same cause.
My coolant levels are low. I think it's last time in the shop they left the freaking cap off (p.s. really??), but I've been watching it and it only now started going through coolant.
It's also been overheating a little. It does tend to run hotter when I'm not moving, and then go back down. Usually it doesn't (quite) hit the danger zone. I'm not entirely sure if having the heat on helps, it doesn't really seem to though.
It also has water vapor (I think? it's at least mostly white) come out of the exhaust. Quite a lot of it and after my care has started warming up. It does go away after long enough driving but it takes a while.
Any ideas?
