Car Help! Scratch and Piece Hanging off?

Hey guys, I need some help. I am leasing a Honda civic and when I was going in my driveway I hit the stairs with the front side of my car. When I went to check the damage I saw a pretty moderate size scratch on my car and part of the front piece of my body came out of position. I don't think it is that serious, because I wasn't going that fast, but I want to get everything fixed. Since I am leasing the car my dad thinks we should go back to the dealership to get it fixed. I don't agree with him because the dealership is probably going to charge us a lot on the final bill. I think I should just take it in to a shop to get it fixed. What do you guys think? Also how much do you do think it will cost, both ways? Finally do you think the damage is really bad? I will upload pictures shortly. Thanks

Oh also the car was last waxed 2-3 months ago, I know that waxing your car helps with scratches and what not.
