CAR HELP NEEDED PLEASE?

I have a 1997 Chrysler Sebring Convertible 2.5. The car overheats every time driven. We just replaced the thermostat, radiator, water pump, plugs, wires, serpentine belt, oil change, and power steering fluid and the car still overheats!!!! I really dont know what to do about it and the car I am driving for now is a very very unsafe car, but I have to get to work!

I dont know if this would have anything to do with the car overheating, but the heat is hot and works, however on each setting it only blows out through the defroster and not out of the vents.

Please help with any kind of ideas and opinions! In advance, thank you for your time and opinions.
I have heard the fans kick on when the car was in idle. We have not yet flushed the system yet; we are planning to do so tomorrow.

The weird thing...the car was driven for over an hour earlier, just after all repairs were done, and did not overheat. An hour went by, the car was driven again and on the highway for 8-10 minutes and the car began to overheat.
I have not noticed any white smoke coming out of the exhaust.
That car did smell like antifreeze, until we fixed the leak it had and the radiator, resulting in no more visible leaks too.

although the thermostat was changed, check the water outlet housing as the thermostat housing is located near the water pump. the water outlet housing located on top usually with a sensor attached controls flow to the thermostat and heater core tends to get plugged up.
 
Did you flush your cooling system with cleaner besides just replacing the water lost? If not, try that.

The hear blowing throught the defrost sounds like a vent issue, i would start with the vaccum lines for the sytem
 
Heat hot but only blows from vents indicates no vacuum to the Vent/ Ac controls, but not related to overheating.

If the thermostat, radiator and water pump have all been replaced that leaves only a few limited possibilities... unless the radiator fan is not operating due to a sensor or fan motor issue, none of them is pleasant to contemplate or repair... the most likely one is that the head gasket has been replaced at some time and the replacement gasket was the wrong one for the application, next on my list would be deposits built up inside the water jacket of the engine block or cylinder head, lastly and sadly fatally would be a cracked head or block causing aeration of the coolant .
 
you could have A blown headgasket.If you have replaced all that then that is the only thing left.Do you get any whit smoke out of the exhaust? if you do does it smell like antifreez?
 
Well you might want to check if the fans are coming on if it has electric fans. Just turn the car on and wait for it to warm up and the fans should come on on there own. Now the hot air coming out only from the defroster it may be that the vent is stuck but it has nothing to do with the overheating.
