Car Help(Need a Good Mechanic to Answer Question)?

Hello, I Own a 1993 Toyota Camry LE with 117 K Miles and I purshaced the car in late july with 114K Miles..Ever since I had the car It always had a rough idle..I put so much money into it trying to figure out what the problem was..New Timing Belt,Water Pump,Fuel Filter,Spark Plugs,Ignition wires,Rotor,Distibutor Cap,Throttle Body Cleaning/Fuel Injection Cleaning,Alot of work and still did not Find the problem of what it could possibly be..Now Yesterday I was going about 40Mph Up a hill and I stopped to Turn..My car's Rpms started fluctuation really bad and it stalled, I smelled a very strong burnt smell for a couple mins..Then tried starting it back up and it started up Fine and Drove fine.. But it doesent make any sence to me..Please let me know What use think could be the problem.Thank you so much
