car help? (kind of long)?

ok so my family has a 1987 jeep wrangler. it is in perfect condition with great parts and it has barely 40k miles. im gonna be turning 16 soon and i would love to have this as my car because my parents have told me i will have $30k to spend on a car (of course they will make the final decision on what i get) so i have talked with them a little bit and we have agreed that if i choose to, i can have that car when i turn 16. the only thing is that it is a manual transmission. i know how and can drive a stick but i dont want to have a stick on my first car. if its possible i would want to spend whatever i have to out of getting a new car to change it from manual transmission to automatic. if this is possible, i would most likely spend the rest of the money on getting a new paint job (because i kind of dont like the color) and getting a new stereo and whatnot. so basically my question is: is there a way to change a manual transmission jeep to an automatic?
