car help. easy 10. answer this now.?

i drove to work the other day my car was working fine i turned it off a few hours later i tried to start it nothing happened. no click from starter, nothing.... when i turned it to ON position the radio and lights worked fine but my car did not.... bought a new battery today, same thing. help revive my car.
