so my truck died and then restarted and i was able to drive it home and it would not start again so i changed the starter as well as the battery and it started up perfectly but then after i let it run for about 5 mins gray smoke starting coming out of the exhaust pipe so i shut off the engine and have not been able to start the car up since ive checked spark plugs, fuses the starter and battery are brand new i recently got a new alternator and transmission i cant possibly think of any other causes so if you have any ideas thanks! OH and when i try to turn the key its like it trys to turn over but doesnt quite make it

Smoke usually means theres a problem with your fuel system somewhere. Could be alot of things, like your fuel injection, egr valve, fuel pump or regulator, fuel filter, or your truck might be running to lean or rich. Sounds like you checked or fixed everything but your fuel system. Because it is trying to turn over tells me that it is most likely your fuel system. Take it to a mechanic and have them look at it, and or fix it. Lucky for you fuel system issues are pretty easy and cheap to fix unless it did damage to your motor. If it isn't your fuel system i couldn't tell you what it might be, i don't see what else it could be. Maybe a bad gasket in the motor, or an oil system failure. It should start if those were the issues though. Hope i helped, good luck!
