Car Help (94 Grand Prix hiccups) I do not know anything about cars...please help.?

2-3 months ago I was driving home and and the grand prix starts hiccuping and choking out, i barely got home.

I haven't tried to mess with it until now.

Before the choking I got it a new battery, belt, filter.

I know it needs a oil change, could it be that? Or transmission?

I heard that it could be that the gas is barely getting sprayed in...

When I opened the hood to check some things out I noticed that the engine coolant was really mucky and it did not look good at all, maybe a reason?

Man I have no idea. Am I going to need to call a mechanic to come to me to fix it?

Please help me. I am a poor college student with no knowledge about cars.
 
That could be a ton of things. I can't tell you what it might be...but I think you should take it to a friend or family member who knows a thing or two about cars. Or invite them over to look at it, and cook them dinner as a way of thanking them. That will help you a lot more than anything anybody says on here.
