Hey everyone. I'm a 20 year old student and I deliver pizzas as a part time job. I'm in a pretty big dilemma here. My '95 Corolla with 232k miles is starting to give me headaches. I took it to the mechanic and he said I will probably have to spend about $700 dollars to get the transmission fixed in a few months but he said it's still good for a while. Now I have no idea what to do. I can either sell the car for the price I bought it for (I bought it pretty cheap for $ 1500) and I already have a buyer.
But then I would have to buy another used car which might give me even more headaches. I've been researching and I found some pretty reliable cars for about 4k however I do not have that money. With no credit it's kind of difficult to get financed so what should I do? Should I just fix my car that is in pretty good shape except for the transmission? But after a while I won't be able to sell it at all with so many miles...
