I woke up and found that my 2007 vehicle had been broken into the driver side window was broken out and my gps as well as my Louis Vuitton work bag was stolen, passenger door had been vandelized due to brick being thrown in window and as well as long scractch on the rear drivers side (not sure what that was about) but anyhow. I filed claim with insurance company and was told that I would have to file a seperate claim with my homeowner's insurance regarding the personal items that were stolen, now my personal items total roughly $1500.00 but I'm not sure if its work the deductible and why isn't my car insurance covering the vandelism as well as the items stolen from this? If anyone have had experience with this please let me know as I don't no what to do, and I sures hell don't want to pay two deductibles or take a lost because some animal felt a need to break into my vehicle. Thanks for any advice that you can share.

First and formost the inside of the car was just that however I live in a middle class area, and not matter how the inside look was still no reason to target it. And for future reference, If the inside of my car looked like the inside of my house I assure you that it would have been vandelized a long time ago. And reasoning for these items being left in my car ,not that its any of your business but because I got off of work and as I always have is left them for the next business day as a business woman this is sometimes what we do.
