Hi Guys,
So I have a 94 Lancer, with brand new alternator and battery.. The alternator puts out over 14V when the car is running, and when turned off, the battery sits on around 12.5V then when I check it in the morning, its down to like 1.6V...
After trying almost everything I can think of (I now have no lights connected, and the earth is fresh and clean, and the battery been charged and load tested) I have finally started checking fuses. I pulled out one of the 32V ones, and the charge stopped going down. So i left it out overnight, and the battery stayed on the 12.5 that it was when I took that fuse out.. I put the fuse back in to start the car, and it started fine!!
I am unsure as to what the fuse is for though? on the fuse box, it says its: LAMP or LAMPE?
Any suggestions would be great, were stumped!! My brother is also now questioning the wiring of the alternator..
Thanks in advance everyone
