I have an after market system with a JVC head unit, infiniti speakers, and an amp (can't remember brand, but it is of lowER quality). I installed them all myself with no problems. Everything sounded great for months.
Recently, its been acting funny. The first thing I noticed was that randomly throughout songs (ipod, CD, and radio) the playback gets high and louder, like there is no bass going through the speakers. This usually lasts for just a few seconds before returning to normal, however, it happens frequently. Second, I just realized yesterday that the front speakers are not even producing sound. I haven't checked the wiring directly to the front speakers because I haven't had time to take off my doors. I checked all connections to the amp and they all seem fine. I haven't looked at the back of the head unit, again because I haven't had the time.
I'm just looking for a little advice on my situation. Any suggestions? Could it be the amp going out? Possibly just faulty wiring? Any help is appreciated
