so i installed an after market sound system in my car including 2 amps a sub woofer and 4 new speakers. the speakers are all connected to one of the amps (a 2 channel amp). now, the problem is that every once in a while my speakers would randomly make a weird noise. it is not frequency noises it is more like loud noises that sound like 4th of july fireworks (no joke!). what can it possibly be? i dont think it is the grounding/power because i have the same power and ground cable hooked up to the other amplifier (the one connected to the woofer) and it works just fine.
i will go ahead and check even though im pretty sure nothing is touching. i noticed that every time i put a bag or a suitcase in the trunk i get noises. btw i have an 07 mustang.if that matters
well it did so since the very first day i had it on and i did try only hooking up 1 speaker and still got noises. is it a problem with the amp?
