Ight, so im 16 and for christmas my dad got me a 2000 Nissan Frontier and being the testosterone filled teen i am ive already got money set aside for the first months insurance and gas, ive already bought pedals, a bunch of air fresheners(the guy my dad got it from was a drunk and the car is impounded and smells of budlight), armour all, and shit like that to get it more my style. The problem is... it has a casette deck and thats not cool at all, and is out of date because no artists release on casette. So im debating whether i should spend $60-$100 dollars for a new in-dash stereo reciever or if i should buy a stereo casette adapter. I dont have an ipod but i can play like 13 songs from my phone... so i would need the adapter but still need to buy songs from iTunes, but i also have CD's for the artists i like and ones i have burned. And of course driving to school il need to pump the music loud to get my presence known, but i could do that with the adapter and the new reciever because in the morning no radio stations play the music i like they just talk about stupid shit; so i need to get something to play my music from. I dont know which to chose.

So.. what should i get the Adapter or a New reciever....

*ALSO* If you have ever used a stereo casette adapter, is the sound exactly the same as if it was on the radio or is it more bland?? Whats your opinion on the adapter??

Thank You.
And im applying for a job after exams to help save up more money for my truck and things aswell. My truck gets released from the impound March 13th so it gives me plenty time to save up more cash
Yea i planned to get this in-dash reciever:
