Car audio system help.?

I am looking into getting 2 "PYLE PLW12RD 12" 800W Car Audio Subwoofers" (you can find them on ebay) and a 1600W power amp. I also need some speakers (looking at 2 200W each). First Question is: do i hook up those speakers to the amp or the head unit?(radio/cd/whatever you have). Witch brings me to the second question: Will i need to upgrade the head unit at all or can i use the stock one?

P.S. Is there anything else i need to complete the set up, besides wires?
 
That amp you are looking at is a scam! Made by Cuspid? Yup, JUNK! But if you already bought it then I'm sorry. You can hook that amp up using the pre-amp wiring harness. You just have to splice the wires into the rear speaker wires. Always hook up subs to an amp. If you wish to get a new head unit then you would hook up the amp with RCA cables. Word of advice. You get what you pay for. A friend of mine bought that amp and had to install noise filters to cut down the feedback he got from the alternator til he got sick of it and bought a good amp.
