I want a new car stereo system but I'm new at this. I want to make sure its a good system with good base, without blowing up any of the speakers. I have a 2001 Nissan Altima. My speakers are so bad right now. Anything will be better than what I have.
I was thinking of changing the stereo to either JVC KD-HDR44 or JVC KD-X50BT. These are both 4 channel. What does 2 channel, 4 channel, 6 channel mean? I went with 4 because I wanted a sub later on. I don't know if that's that right logic but that's how I determined 4.
I don't need component speakers because I don't want to spend too much. I was looking for 3 way speakers, but I have no idea whats good. How many ohms should I get? What frequency response? how much RMS power? Since they are going to be full range speakers, that means they will be connected to the radio right? I was thinking about kappa 63.9i, but those are kind of expensive. Any suggestions on what type of speakers to get?
