well my friend has the old amp my friend had and i have the newer model of it plus i have 2 10'' ken-woods 300 rms with my 1000 rms kenwood amp. he has 2 12'' kenwoods with older model amp.
now i know your gonna say 2 12'' subs with around 600 rms is obvisoly gonna be better but that amp can only handle 1000 rms. And no matter what i had the same amp i sold him on his old mtx and had same rms and still sounded better
My main point is he has a 2 door Accord and i have a 4 door Jetta (TDI
) I belive it has somthing to do with encloser my trunk has no material below window alowing more airflow his is closed.
Also when i max out settings on my amp with my 2 300rms on 1000rms amp it cuts out?
I have a deep cycle battery with crazy ground and 8 gauge wire for speaker wire just for my car audio.
