Car Audio Questions.....Please Help?

I just bought a FI Q12 subwoofer, and i need help on deciding what sub box and amplifier i need to make this sub hit Hard.

a jl audio 1000/1 amp or rockford fosgate 1000bd which are 1000rms would be very nice with the sub and the box you need is listed right in the subwoofer specs..it says you need a .8-1.5 cubic foot box if you want sealed which is good for sound quality and a 1.8-2.5 cubic foot box if you want it ported which is good for less sound quality but more bang! you can go on ebay and find nice boxes on there, just have to choose if you want ported or sealed and match up the cubic foot to what you need for your subwoofer..and also just make sure the size dimensions of the box fit in your vehicle and make sure the mounting depth of the box is more than the subwoofer otherwise it wont fit in all the way..the mounting depth for the subwoofer is 7inches so make sure the box has more than that..good luck
