So i decided i wanted more bass for my car but i did not want to spend 300 on subs so i bought some sony speakers (i know there not the best) and installed them replacing the 16 year old papers ones in my civic. The sound is.....better..... not great, they still distort and the same volume and the bass is not much better they sound cripser but that is because there is built in tweeters, i turned down the trebble and popped the base up all the way but it still sounds more high pitched then i would like. My friend has a newer deck and worse speakers and his bass is a lot better, so im sure what i need is an amp, what kind should i get in terms of channels and i take it i just need a small one? And is there anything i can do in the mean time to just give it more bass?
