car audio, looking to build a system for a truck?

any one have any ideas for a sub system in an extended cab truck.

i'm looking to put it under the back bench, i'll probably build an enclosure... i was thinking three 12" shallow mount subs, any one have any experiences with building a system for a truck... things that might be handy to know.
