car audio installation problem?

Sounds like you have a problem with the amp switching. You should have a blue wire coming out of your head unit, that wire goes to "S" terminal on the amp so it will come on when you turn the head unit on.
 
i have a jvc kd-g230 head unit and a dual XIA2340 hooked up to a kicker sub.
the sub works fine so i know that's not the problem.
but i wired up the amp to the battery and its grounded good, but the light isn't lighting up. also i have the deck hooked up with rca cables to the amp and still nothing.
what could be wrong? the amp was working fine when i bought it and the deck and sub work fine too. what could the problem be?
 
shane sounds right on. all so check fuses but the amp uses the blue turn on lead like a switch, so i would wire the other amps turn on wire to this amp if it does not have one.
