Car audio help! Major noob seeks guidance ASAP.?

I'm trying to install a budget system in a '94 Toyota Tercel. I've never done any car audio before, so bear with me, please.

I'm leaving nothing stock, so here are the specs on the stuff I scouted.

Speakers (all 4 same model):
5 1/4" diam.
240W Peak
40W RMS
3-Channel

Head:
Output: 20W RMS x 4 Channels at 4 Ohms & less than 1% THD+N
Load Impedance: 4 Ohms
Operating Voltage: DC 14.4V (11V to 16V allowance)

I may consider adding a sub, but I would need to know how to wire all this stuff.

So...Do I need an amp? What wattage? How many channels? Is the car power enough for the system? What gauge wire should I use? Can a small sub be mounted safely in the area between the rear seat and the rear window between the rear speakers? Anything else I should know? Thanks, guys and gals.

You COULD use an amp for the 4 speakers if you'd like, might improve the sounds quality, and your car can/should be able to power the system. You could also just run the speakers off of your head unit? your choice

Try searching YouTube for videos, I've found some on there before for other people who needed some guidance.

As for the sub and amp, im sure there is somewhere to mount them, smaller spaces have been filled, and wiring and what not depends on how much power your amp is pushing (RMS not "total power")

Good luck! message me if u need anything else
