car audio cassette player, the tape keeps switching back and forth?

tape was stuck in my car cassette player, i tired to get it off with a key and it did came out, now when i put tape inside it keeps going back and forth to side of the tape, when i put the tape it plays one side and then goes another side of the tape, and it keeps switching and does not play.
can somebody plzzzzzzz helppp meeeee :(
is it fixable?
the tape keeps switching back and forth to each side of the tape
