blow 2 fuses and then blows the amp.
power wire goes to capacitor.... amp 1 and amp 2 comes from cap
cap is grounded and amp 1 and amp 2 are grounded from the cap...
amp 1 works... amp 2blew.. bought a new amp and hooked it up and amp2 blew again.
regrounded all amps individual.. amp 2 blew... the only think i havnt done was connect them amp straight to the battery.... with a aground.. i did that for amp 2. but im sure it was already blown because it was smoking b4. and when i did it again. it started to smoke again. some people said couldnt be the cap... because one amp works with the cap but the other 1 doesnt original setup worked for 2 years then all of a sudden stoped i replaced all those wires to amp 2 to make sure it wasnt the wires.
amp 1kicker zx500.1 (subs)
amp2 alpine mpr-f250(4-channel)
replacement amp 2 kicker zx 350.1(4 channel)
.5 farrad scosche cap
2 kicker compvrs
should i get a new wireing kit ? maybe issue with power wire from battery too ---
or the cap could be messing up ? when i have 2 amp connected maybe it started to fry from long use ? idk.. any idea?
ill be checking in very quickly im dieing to know this. if any 1 can help... if some 1 can chat ill post my screen name
thanks guys
4 gauge wire goes from battery to amp1... and from the cap 6 gauge into amp 2.. 30 amp in amp 1
was 15 in amp 2 and the replace ment amp 2 is 20... shouldnt have to put a bigger fuse in. and after both fuses blow... i put the new fuses in and instead of the fuses blowing and amp protecting... it starts to smoke... i think im just gonna get a new wireing kit wire the whole car again with 2 brand new kits and i wonder if that would do the trick... minus the cap.
