I need some help with outfitting my 2007 Honda Accord
I just bought two blue led light strips to put under the driver and passenger dash. A friend of mine recommended wiring the lights to the cigarette lighter with a toggle switch. I'm not exactly sure how to do this but all I know is that I want the whole thing to be clean without wires hanging all over the place and i want to be able to turn the lights on and off.
When it comes to the stereo, I have a few questions.
I'm a little strapped for cash right now so I only want to install new speakers for now and wait til I have the cash for subs. Anyone familiar with the newer accords knows that the factory head unit is huge and also has the climate control on it so its gonna cost too much and take too much time to install a new head unit. So for now I'm planning on just putting in new speakers.
1.) What brand and size speakers should i install in the doors and rear deck to get the best bang for my buck?
2.) How important are tweeters?
3.) Whats the difference between regular speakers and component systems?
4.) Is it pointless to put in more powerful speakers if I'm not installing a more powerful head unit?
5.) Am I going to have to install a new head unit if i want subs?
PS. I know virtually nothing about electrics and cars so if u answer keep in mind u r talking to an idiot
