I have a kenwood 1000watt Peak/300rms 4 ohm/ 500rms 2 ohm amplifier wired with 8 guage wire. my car is a 4 cylinder and it is having problems starting and holding a charge, it is wired power from the battery cable and i was wondering if a capacitor would help? if so how would it and if i need one how many farads should it be, especially considering i'm changing to a 15 inch sub and running it at 500rms. also if i'm going up in power like that should i re wire it with 4 guage or bigger?
