I want to use a car audio amplifier to power some speakers and a sub woofer in my house. How can I safely use a home power outlet as the positive power supply and what should I use as a ground? I grabbed an old plug and cut off the end, found the positive and tried to use that but it doesnt seem to be working or powering correctly. How do i make this work? Thanks!
