I was just given an 03 Hyundai Accent, possibly the most girly car in the world, but at least it'll get me to school... anyway, I would at least like to enjoy my music in the car so I'm planning on ordering a deck, sub, amp, and a couple of speakers off amazon & having them all installed in the car; I'm not looking for some kind of disgusting setup, just some quality sound & nice rich, deep bass.
my plan is probably one 10' inch infiniti sub and two infiniti speakers; the problem is that I know nothing about car audio, or really any technical aspect of audio equipment for that matter - the installation isn't a problem because I'm going to have it professionally done. The issue is I don't know what to buy??
I don't know if certain amps only work with certain subs... or speakers??
I don't know what size speakers I need? Is it only the size that matters... or is it output too??
If I want to hook up my iPod through an auxiliary port do I just need to install a deck with one? or is there something else that needs to be done for it to work?
If anyone can help me with these questions as well as any other pertinent information I would really appreciate it - easy best answer for someone knowledgeable in this area.
