i just installed a 1600 watt amp in my car along with 2 800 watt subs. The power light to my amp flickers on and off, not completely off all the time just fades. When this happens it stops the subs from working or it reduces the sound alot. Is it because the amp isn't getting sufficient power from by battery? I know my ground lead is good, i just sanded that down the other day. Another theory I have is that I am hooked up to the wrong wire for my remote turn on lead... The reason I think this, is the amp powers on when my car turn on, but the stereo can still be off... I have a LED display above my stereo that turn on with the car. Could I be on the power wire for that? Could that be causing the flicker problem?
