Car amplifier in house?

I am making my own home theater setup, and I have a few car amps laying around that I was going to use. I was wondering how you hook up a car amp to the house. I know how to wire one up in a car, but where do you plug the cables in, or do you have to get a converter? If so, where would i get one?
 
well since the Amp's are DC powered then you will first need an AC to DC converter.

Then you will have to make sure that that converter provides the correct amperage and voltage to your Amp.
