Now i know this has been asked numerous times before, but i can't find anything similarly useful.
So, basically, i took an amp out of my car to put this one in its place. The fan stays turns on as it should, but the power light flicks on and then off and there's no audio. (fan still working)
Do amps have a shutdown mode? I was told if the +ive and -ive wires are mixed the amp goes into permanent shutdown mode. Is this true? and is it reversible?
If this isn't the case, what else could be the issue? Don't go telling me its the cables, because the other amp works happily in it! And i've ground it in a bazillion places.
